With over 17 years of experience in direct SBA lending, economic development, and entrepreneurial development, Helena brings a wealth of knowledge and dedication to supporting small businesses and local communities. Known for being empowered, self-motivated, and self-aware, she thrives in environments where collaboration and a balanced team approach can drive the success of SBA programs and meet the needs of small business owners.

As a seasoned SBA loan program specialist, Helena has facilitated, trained, and presented on various SBA 504 Commercial Real Estate and 7(a) Small Business Loan Programs. She regularly engages in public speaking, having presented on subjects such as financing and the fundamentals of SBA programs, including a notable appearance at the 2022 TBBA Conference.

An accomplished leader, she excels in organizational development, strategic planning, and action planning. She continues to stay active in her community and is currently serving as the Chairman of the Board for the Wimberley Valley Chamber of Commerce. She is also involved with the Hotel Advisory Occupancy Tax Committee and is a Board Member and Hill Country Region Representative for the Texas Bed & Breakfast Association.
